Accounts Receivable Specialist
Legends Pharmacy is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support billing, collections, and payment operations within our long-term care pharmacy environment.
This role plays an important part in ensuring timely reimbursement, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the operational stability of pharmacy services provided to long-term care facilities and residents.
What You’ll Do
- Submit and monitor pharmacy billing claims and facility invoices
- Follow up on unpaid claims, denials, and aging accounts
- Communicate with insurance companies, facilities, and responsible parties regarding payment issues
- Reconcile payments, adjustments, and account balances
- Maintain billing records, payer information, and reporting documentation
- Support collaboration between pharmacy operations, intake, billing, and finance teams
What We’re Looking For
- Accounts receivable or billing experience required
- Long-term care pharmacy or healthcare billing experience preferred
- Experience with insurance claims, collections, and reconciliation processes
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
