Position Overview
We are seeking a Relief Pharmacist (RPh) to support our West Monroe retail pharmacy on an as-needed basis. This role is essential in ensuring safe and efficient pharmacy operations while delivering excellent customer service and patient care.

What You’ll Do
As a Pharmacist, you will:
- Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
- Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and drug interactions
- Deliver excellent customer service in a retail pharmacy environment
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to support medication therapy plans
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and oversee daily workflow operations
- Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and monitoring medication supplies
- Utilize pharmacy systems for prescription processing and record management
- Maintain accurate documentation, including controlled substance records
What We’re Looking For
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution (or equivalent)
- Active Pharmacist (RPh) license in the state of Louisiana
- Retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and therapeutic protocols
- Excellent communication and patient counseling skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workflow in a retail setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
